TO HATE YOURSELF – TO LOVE YOURSELF ?/ A VITAL QUESTION

A TE URI PE TINE INSUTI – A TE IUBI PE TINE INSUTI ?/ O INTREBARE VITALA

***

Motto:

“ … if you are born to live and to die alone – love does not exist…”

… daca te-ai nascut sa traiesti si sa mori singur – dragostea nu exista…”

(Theophil Magus)

TO HATE YOURSELF – TO LOVE YOURSELF

To hate yourself = do NOT forgive yourself ever = do NOT love ever.

To love yourself = to forgive yourself always = to love the others as yourself, always.

According to the ancient cultures, Buddha and Confucius mean love & duty mean love

forgiveness, finally mean ONLY love.

According to myself:

To hate yourself means to be the biblical Cain.

To love yourself means the whole Bible.

Still I did NOT succeed to forgive myself.

You, do you forgive yourself?

… do you hear the birds?

their songs of the coming day

of the winter-blues…”

A TE URI PE TINE INSUTI – A TE IUBI PE TINE INSUTI

A te uri pe tine insuti = sa NU te ierti niciodata = sa nu iubesti niciodata.

A te iubi pe tine insuti = sa te ierti mereu = sa ii iubesti pe ceilalti ca pe tine insuti, mereu.

In acord cu stravechile culturi, Buddha si Confucius inseamna dragoste & datorie inseamna dragoste & iertare, finalmente inseamna – DOAR dragoste.

In acord cu mine insumi:

A te uri pe tine insuti inseamna a fi biblicul Cain.

A te iubi pe tine insuti inseamna intreaga Biblie.

Totusi, inca Nu am reusit sa ma iert pe mine insumi.

Tu, te ierti pe tine-insuti?

… daa, pasarile…

cinta – ziua ce vine…

blues despre iarna…”

Leonard Oprea created the Breathing, an original type of essay in Romanian and world literature. The Breathing is a short, simple yet profound meditation on human condition, a meditation ended by a haiku. But – this haiku does not finish the meditation. In fact, it re-opens this reflection to new questions and responses on human destiny. There are 100 Breathings in Leonard Oprea’s work „Theophil Magus – Confessions 2004 – 2006”, ed. „Universal Dalsi”, 2007, Romania)
