Walking through the Darkness of Being… or, the HUMAN CONDITION

Kierkegaard said that the man, in his way to God, passes three stages of his existence:

·          “the esthetic man” – the one that lives the moment

·          “the ethical man” – the one that lives worried for the future

·          “the religious man” – the one that feels the eternity.

These from the above are even the convert stages into the Lord Jesus Christ Faith.

Excepting Jesus, who – since His birth as man – was beyond the human experience

(as the human knowledge achieved through the whole life step by step) all the wise men of this world, like Moses, Buddha, Pythagoras (and, now I only name these), everyone of them passed these stages, integrally and conscientiously consuming/burning each stage (following from the above order).

As for the immense majority of manhood, the ordinary people or, briefly, the sinners, Jesus Christ explained to his Apostles: “I came not to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.”(St. Luke 5/32; St. Matthew 9/12;13)

Therefore, all beyond any other argument, I wonder if the real nature of the human existence is something else but the sphere of the three stages definite by Kierkegaard?

Of course, a man can consume/burn his existence only in the first stage. Or, in the second stage. Or, in an undefined mixture of the first two stages.

Yet, “the religious man” continuously exists in every one of us, even if the recognition and consciousness of this alter-ego (sine qua non of the being; because, in fact it is the first and the true “I”, the archetypal “I”) would not appear during our whole life, but – only in that infinitesimal moment of the last breath of our earthly existence.

And then, in a way or another, you will surely know that:

“…I am in my father, and you in Me and I in you. “(John  14/20),

meaning that then you will come to know Jesus Christ.

Like Himself enlightened his disciples.

His Light is burning eternally.

Still – we are walking through the darkness of our being. Daily.

“… the first star twinkles/

in the cloudy night… silently/

two wolfs cross my road…”

Pasind prin Bezna Fiintei… sau, CONDITIA UMANA

Kierkegaard spunea ca omul in calea sa catre/intru Dumnezeu strabate 3 stadii ale existentei sale:

¨        “omul estetic” – cel care isi traieste clipa;

¨        “omul etic” – cel care traieste ingrijorat de viitor;

¨        “omul religios”- cel care simte eternitatea.

Sint acestea chiar stadiile convertirii intru Credinta in Domnul Dumnezeu Iisus Christos.

Insa, evident, fiecare om isi poate consuma/arde existenta in doar primul stadiu.

Eu sint in Tatal meu, voi sinteti in Mine si Eu sint in voi “(Ioan  14/20).

Lumina Lui e nestinsa.

Si, totusi – pasim prin bezna fiintei noastre. Zilnic.

“… clipeste prima /

stea-n noapte… tacuti, doi lupi /

imi taie calea –  …”
