THE HAWK LONELINESS

 Motto:

“ Who knows the heart of the Hawk?

Only God the Lord is…  his flying.”

(Theophil Magus)

The Hawk  loneliness is royal – looking to the human kind.

The Hawk  loneliness is divine – through the love of God.

The blue sky, the stormy sky  measure the boundlessness of the Hawk in his flying.

Yes, the mountains, the plains, the forest and the rocks, the ocean and the rivers, only them are quiet and thrilled witnesses of the Hawk’s flying.

The loneliness of the Hawk is royal – into his unspeakable distress.

The loneliness of the Hawk is divine – into his infinite joy.

Who knows the heart of the Hawk?

 “… the ocean made by clay… /

… the sky, all  lead; howls the wind… /

… the Hawk’s high calling…”

SINGURATATEA SOIMULUI

 Motto:

“Cine cunoaste inima Soimului?

Doar Dumnezeu Domnul este…  zborul sau.”

(Theophil Magus)

Singuratatea Soimului este regala – prin comparatie cu fiinta umana.

Singuratatea Soimului este divina – prin dragostea lui Dumnezeu.

Cerul senin, cerul innegurat de furtuna masoara nemarginirea Soimului in zbor.

Da, muntii, cimpiile, padurea si stincile, oceanul si riurile, doar ei sunt martori tacuti si infiorati ai Soimului in zbor.

Singuratatea Soimului este regala –  in suferinta sa de necuprins.

Singuratatea Soimului este divina –  in bucuria sa infinita.

Cine cunoaste inima Soimului?

 “… ocean de lut … /

… cer de plumb; urla vintul … /

… chiuie Soimul…”

Leonard Oprea created the Breathing, an original type of essay in Romanian and world literature. The Breathing is a short, simple yet profound meditation on human condition, a meditation ended by a haiku. But – this haiku does not finish the meditation. In fact, it re-opens this reflection to new questions and responses on human destiny. There are 100 Breathings in Leonard Oprea’s work „Theophil Magus – Confessions 2004 – 2006”, ed. „Universal Dalsi”, 2007, Romania)
